Metal Mickey

The other day I dropped by Noah’s studio to take a couple of promo shots of him putting the finishing touches on a painting that he was working on for Arturo Fuente’s annual God of Fire fundraiser.

And while I was there, I picked up something for my son too.  It’s Metal Mickey!  He was so stoked when he saw it.  It’s a limited edition collector’s Vinylmation piece that Noah custom designed for Disney.

Disney has come a long way now that Mickey is sporting some ink.  At least he’s still sticking with the white gloves and pants pulled up to his arm pits!

Elliott Family – Studio Session

I recently shot some studio portraits of a great family with their 3 kids and their dog!  It was a lot of fun and the pictures came out great.  In case any of you out there were wondering about studio portraits, I shoot them here at my house.  It’s not what I usually do, but I really enjoy it because it stretches me a bit.  Shooting in the studio is a totally different animal than going out and shooting natural light environmental portraits.  But it’s important to me to know and I take pride in being able to work in a number of different settings!  So here are a few of my favorites…
