Ethan’s Balboa Bar Mitzvah

Last weekend I photographed Ethan’s Bar Mitzvah.  I’ve done portraits of Ethan a few times in the past so it was fun to be a part of such a big day in his life.  He did a great job of speaking and reciting his Hebrew during the service.  It always impresses me to see a thirteen year old get up in front of a crowd with such confidence.  

Ethan did a great job and it was quite obvious how serious he was about this sacred rite of passage.  His mom and dad were beaming with pride!

After the service, it was on to the party which was held down in Newport at the Balboa Bay Club, right on the sand.  It couldn’t have been a more beautiful evening to be outside and on the water.  The DJ’s were from H2H, who never disappoint!  I heard more than one person say that this was one of the best parties they had ever been to!  So I put together a slideshow below with some highlights of the celebration.  Congratulations Ethan and thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!

My Blog is Alive!

I am very excited because I finally finished my new Blog! Yes it’s the one you’re looking at right now. It was a ton of work because I am pretty dense when it comes to computer design, but I am really happy with the way it came out. With the holidays rapidly approaching, I figure my traffic is going to go up with folks interested in family portraits for their cards and gifts. So I thought it would be cool to post a quick slideshow of some of my favorite family images from the past. One of the biggest blessings of my business has been how many amazing families I have had to the chance to meet and create images, and preserve some memories for. Thank you to all of you out there who have trusted me with this! I will be posting some special pricing for holiday photo sessions very soon, but for now, enjoy the show!
