I have been living here in lovely Orange County for around 36 years. I’ve actually lived right here in Tustin for all those years, and I don’t ever remember seeing what I saw today. Mishelle and I were driving home and as the clouds from yesterday’s storm were clearing around Saddleback mountain, you could see snow all the way down to the foothills. It looked amazing so Shell and I picked the kids up from school and headed towards Silverado Canyon. Being Orange County, of course a number of people had the same idea, but we found a nice spot to park at the Maple Springs Road gate and we started up the trail. With the kids, Sydney and a saucer we made it up the road to a decent amount of snow in around 20 minutes. It was not only a lot of fun but it was so beautiful. What a great memory for our kids that they actually played in the snow here in Orange County!
